3 spicy cocktails

Let’s add a little spice to it shall we?! Yes, the heat from a chilli pepper can sometimes wake something in us. Some warmness in our cold souls.

Hot and spicy

Ingredients 

  • 50 ml tequila 
  • 25 ml lime juice
  • 1 cut jalapeno 
  • Ice: cubes and big rock
  • Garnish: corn syrup & salt and lime zest & dry lime wheel

Tools 

  • Shaker
  • Cocktail strainer
  • Tea strainer
  • Rocks glass

The how to 

First we prepare the rim of the glass. Using the syrup we make it sticky. Go all around. Make a mix out of the salt and lime zest and tap the rim in it.

In your shaker add the tequila, lime juice, jalapeno and ice cubes. Shake well until chilled. Double strain it in your glass over the crushed ice. Make sure you don’t touch  the rim. Garnish with the dry lime wheel.


Warm nights

Ingredients 

  • 50 ml whiskey 
  • 1 chilli pepper
  • 75 ml orange juice
  • 15 ml cherry syrup
  • Ice
  • Garnish: orange wheel

Tools 

  • Shaker 
  • Cocktail strainer
  • Tea strainer
  • Collins glass


The how to 

In your shaker add the whiskey, orange juice and the cut chilli pepper. Add ice and shake well. Double stain over ice in your glass and pour in the cherry syrup. Add the orange wheel as garnish.


Hellish

Ingredients 

  • 50 ml vodka
  • 15 ml lime juice
  • 25 ml rose water
  • 5-6 pink pepper beans
  • 5-6 black pepper beans 
  • Ice 
  • Garnish: a small rose

Tools 

  • Shaker 
  • Cocktail strainer
  • Tea strainer
  • Coupe glass

The how to 

In your shaker add the rum, lime juice, pepper beans and rose water. Add ice and shake well. Double stain in your glass with no ice. Adding the rose to the glass/ petals from one will work as well.
